Probably the least wanted result all round. Not a very inspiring match though both teams had periods of domination. I would think we had most of the ball but Wolves probably had the better chances. Clearly our problem was lack of cutting edge and clinical finishing. Much of our play was neat and tidy and up to the edge of the box we were quite good. Ironically we are probably missing a player with the managers quality in front of goal. Defensively we were quite strong with Romero’s first half save being the highlight of the whole game. Our best attempts were Mata’s free kick which went close and Rashfords deflected effort onto the bar. As far as MOTM l think either Lindelöf or Maguire who were both good. A poor match in reflection and unfortunately a replay in 10 days. Next match is City at home on Tuesday in Carabao Cup semi final first leg. Come on United! 🇾🇪
